No Starbucks to close in Butte, Glenn, Yuba counties
Seattle-based Starbucks Corp. plans to close 618 locations in the coming months, but stores in Butte, Glenn and Yuba counties won't be among them, according to a company Web site.

Starbuck's was founded by Jerry Baldwin, Gordon Bowker, and Zev Siegel. They went all the way to Berkeley, California not Italy, to learn how to roast beans from Alfred Peet the founder of Peet's. I have no idea what religious persuasion Siegel and Baldwin are but do know that Bowker went to O'Dea H/S in Seattle which is run by the Christian Brothers and is a Roman Catholic H/S.
