Other than perhaps tithing to their church, those people are stingy as hell. I'm sure they drink Maxwell House.

Why should I spend $4.95 for a cup of coffee, when I can brew my own at home, with extras, for less than 60 cents a cup ?

Starbucks is for rich people who don't know what to do with their money.

(No, I have never been inside a Starbucks, and would never do so.)

Hmmm, No.... Of the off the shelf brands, Maxwell House is probably one of the smoothest. Folgers tends to have a strong bitter taste. Fundies are more likely to go for the bitterness.

JMPO... of the coffees..

Actually, I never touch coffee and haven't done so in decades. I have been a confirmed tea drinker for more than 30 years.

Peet's Coffee is the best. It's the only one I use. It tastes like coffee house brew and I loaded up on it last time it was on sale and have 4 bags of it in the freezer now! There's a cup at my elbow this minute.

It's a bit hard to find, and I believe it is only a west coast brand, but take a look on line for it.

Do you ever go to the Castro Peet's Coffee and Tea(ahem) on Market between Sanchez and Noe Street? That is my favorite coffee shop in the world. The front bay window on a windy sunny day...I hope the afterlife is that pleasant!
