Hey dude, chill! I agree with Sugar, Star of Stars and others of his kind should get the hell out of Satyam irrespective of which part of India they come from! If you cannot stay loyal to the company that pays you, go find a company like T... Consultancy Services which will lay off its employees and even deduct money from their salary during crisis. People like Star of Stars deserve such a treatment!

I heard from some other people are frequent visitors on this site, that the person who created this site has been a computer technician his whole life, and has several computer certifications. I had a problem with my PC that I couldnt fix, and if you contact him through his link on the website, they will help you out. This website is GREAT!!

Chill out guys, first of all I am not South Indian and even if I was, it would have no problem. North/south/east/west...who cares as long as its part of India. Coming to Satyam, I am leaving this year end. My notice will start from Nov and by start of new year, i wish to see myself in another company. No grudges to satyam as all companies are same, but I see that from last some years it has gone bit greedy and middle management is utter waste. For everything, you need to call Hyd office (ultimately) and some ppl working in Payroll, Corporate and all FIC's are pretty as*holes (not everyone) who just took ages to do small work. Anyways, I am (rather, not)waiting for the magic week of 25Aug onwards...Jai Hind.

You can go thorugh PayScale.com or GlassDoor.com to find out who is getting what? These sites are pretty clean and uses SAAS.(software-as-a-services).

I agree, for a company to succeed, middle managers should understand technology and management. Lack of this resulting in low client satisfaction and ultimately affecting your paychecks.

"Lack of communication" to employees is not a good sign for a CMM level [marching towards North Star/billion dollar/etc.,] company, don’t they have a courtesy to inform... Hey so called top management or HR why you guys didn’t communicated well in advance about the delay in appraisal … In mid of July most unit HR circulated a mail stating “Our Sincere appreciation to each one of you, for being mature & patient enough to hear towards closure of the Salary revision Process 2008. We will release of appraisal Letters to associates on or before Mid August, 08”[Date differs to each unit]. After august 15th also no one communicated about the delay [I hope august 15th is called mid August but it may differ to top management since they are all working with out knowing date/month/year “Pillars of the company”], After a week or so we received a mail stating “We couldn’t finish the appraisal process by Aug 08… we will hopefully finish it in September 2008”[So you guys still don’t know whether it will happen in September]

At least for the first instance its fine but it seems to be a series of instances [What the hell you are all doing] Now it’s in open guess to employees by not giving the specific dates “Simply saying September 2008”.
You guys took the advantage of market condition/attrition rate. We see the real face/kind heart of you guys to your employees [Money earning cow in your jargon] everyone will have there own commitment on there salary from a lay man to techie…..[Don’t ever talk about process to any client or employee if you can’t follow it]. I hear from HR and finance for ages if we ask any clarification in policy they simply ask us to refer power on [Do u guys have a process/policy for appraisal?]

People.. This is having absolutely no effect on management.. They will continue to do whatever they want to do.. I know we are all upset but lets take this in our stride and move on.. Life @ Satyam Sucks!! God help us all...

guys,stop posting comments now.
Lot of startup companies in bangalore where your skills and experience will get justice.If you are one of top performers then should not be problem in getting into these startups else you are one in 50000 satyamite who don't know what they doing and don't have any skills required for job!!!

Latest update as per the senior level meeting is No hikes.U will get to know this pretty soon.Satyam is in the process of getting takeover.

The Payslip is generated & the BPLP & CPLP are excluded from the same. Hope that from next month onwards Special Allowance will not be excluded
