I was recently appalled by the lack of interest & enthusiasm when I was approached by the sales reps at Coconut Point Ford in Estero, Florida. I visited the local dealership to find that the person who greeted me was not interested in working with me as I e-mailed their dealership for a quote. The internet sales rep was with busy another customer and the sales rep who greeted me did not have the time of day to assist me. Even worse was that the Sales Manager on staff totally ignored me and I asked if I can get some assistance and continued to pursue his interests and business on the computer and internet. I cannot believe in this economy that this attitude exists in this time and place in Southwest Florida. And for a new dealership....are they really doing all that well to ignore a customer representing a name brand which is struggling against the great imports of today? Please help me understand why they lack the basic of true customer service & appreciation of the walk in consumer. A bad dealership.

Its ridiculous that the Carson City Council did nothing to stop this from happening. From what I hear, some of them didn't even know it was going to happen until it was already done. Mike Gipson surely didn't know about it, since I asked him about it as Kott was finalizing the deal to move. Gipson had no idea at all because he was too busy campaigning for the Assembly.
What a loss of revenue to the City of Carson. And it could have been stopped if our inept City Council and Mike Gipson would have done a little paying attention. I think they get paid to do just that.

No your all stupid. legal or not. hey I ve got a great Idea or ideas for a country. First lets outsource are intire industrial base. to a communist country. Great idea. then one day china will seaze all the factories american companies set up. and use it to do whatever. maybe invade the USA. Next lets outsource all are professional jobs to places like india, having already gotten rid of all are industrial jobs, all that is left are jobs that can't be outsourced. which now would be the only jobs left.(ei cleaning motel rooms) but retard americans are outsourcing them to mexicans phillipinos and so on. Not smart

I think they get paid to do just that. They should convert that area into a Restaurant Row with Quality Restaurants... But now we will have a Used Car Dealership there! After unethical treatment at Don Kott Ford, I opted to buy my new vehicles in neighboring cities. I am glad they are gone!!!

I am in a discussion with a co-worker as to the original name being Don "Knott" Ford and then seeing it change to Don Kott Ford at one point. I remember being told that this was because of the actor suing to not have his name associated with it. Does anyone else remember this or am I crazy?
