Jobs are greatly needed in the area. But when you research the Sanderson Farms project , they are treating the waste from the facility. What about the waste from the farms. MANURE MANAGER Magazine has all the dirt on some of the farms that are polluting our water. Farmers are put in a bind with cost rising and trying to save on fertilizer. I don't want this in my well water! The people in Nash County that are for this project have treated city water.PLEASE HELP US!

I dont think folks can grasp this theory of polluted well water because it os not a problem. The waste from chickens is not "waste"! It is one of the best fertilizers and at a lower cost than purchasing from a grain company. If a new hog farm were up for debate, i could see an issue. Hog farms have large amounts of waste and runoff. Where im from i am surrounded by chickens and aurrounded by wells. I myself have had my water evaluated and there is no issue! My stand is this, "let the economy grow"

I hope y'all are ready for this plant that's coming. If you are ready for a good management position and have no felonies its for you. If you have a felony well then you are just a number to this company. Don't think for one minute they care about your hands hurting.
