Banks repaying billions to U.S.

Morgan Stanley and other financial institutions said Wednesday they had repaid the money they received last fall as part of the government's $700 billion bank investment program.

It's a great sign of recovery. The banks started paying of their due which they had borrowed from the government. So we can say that things are getting better and shall we might be closer to the end of the recession very soon if such things keep on going.
