problem with heated coil

I recently started using the new heated coil, but I'm having some issues and wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. First, what temperature do you set your machine at? The guidebook says that the default setting is 80 degrees, but the technician that delivered the machine recommended 68 degrees. Second, within days of using the new tubing, I developed a very dried out sinus problem. I went back to my old tubing until the pain subsided, then tried the new tubing again. The next morning, I woke up in pain again. I wonder if my sinus dries out because i'm using an incorrect temperature setting. I called ResMed as well as the Dr. and the company that delivered the machine. I get different answers from everyone and I'm very confused. I love not having water dripping all over me, but I can't stand the sinus pain. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks.
