I haven't seen evidence of increased hiring in Vallejo. The article said specifically Solano County which could be Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield or Rio Vista.

I do hope it's true as eventually it will have to include Vallejo.

Maybe they are basing this only on the "Now Hiring" sign posted at the new Lowes scheduled to open soon.

They also mentioned collections. Yes, i'm sure the Repo men are quite busy working VTown.

I wish there were some manufacturing jobs for blue collar Vallejo, but i'll just smoke a fattie and dream on.

I hope magic is performed as well. But I wouldn't get too wrapped up in numbers until the holidays have past. There's always a spike in hiring a couple of months before Christmas. The #s after Xmas will be more telling.
