If the GOP actually cared a scintilla about capturing a larger share of the Middle Class; logic would argue for Republicans to help drive down the deficit by first increasing by a few percentage points the amount of taxes paid by those making over $250,000 and the ultra rich. However; Republicans care not a whit about the Country or its people. The GOP is nihilistic and misanthropic; they will sacrifice all of us- the American Dream- their own parents to "shrink government down to a size where it can be drowned in a bathtub." That is the vitriolic unAmerican rhetoric of Boss Norquist.

There is no charity, sympathy, compassion or even clinical logic to Republic ideology now. They are hell bent on destroying this Nation and hold a inane idea that some new Republic shaped by Ayn Rand's fascist, hateful and plutocratic psuedophilosophies will Phoenix from the ashes.

I see you have your hand out. Why should the wealthy be penalized for being successful? They shouldn't. How about if EVERYONE pays their part? We'd have lower taxes across the board and more revenue. Hey, my truck is in need of repair, please send me your "part" so I may get it fixed. Logic? You don't understand the concept.

The wealthy should be proud to pay back something to the country which provide the setting for their success.... Yeah, I see a hand out and it's the rich guy who took the money, from the guys working and earning it.
