Good riddance, Timothy Turbo. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing to help the economy. WOW, what an economic guru you are.

NOT.

Even Geithner has had enough of this insane president.
The country hit its $16.4 trillion debt limit December 31, and the Treasury is on track to run out of funds in February. If Congress does not raise the debt ceiling on time, the United States would default on its debt payments and roil markets worldwide.

He should never have been hired. I was against him being in Treasury to START with, he was nothing but Paulson all over again. Proof that Obama wasn't serious about Wall St. reform or taking the people's side against the banks.

He'll just call up Goldman Sachs and tell them to send somebody else over...

The credit rating was lowered because Republicans in the House played games with the debt ceiling and it was clear Congress couldn't act in the country's economic interests. It will happen again unless we regain control of Congress and kick out the Tea Bag Party.

You remain clueless, I see.

Nothing to do with the President, evertything to do with the nuts in Congress, especially Republicans, especially Teabaggers. They want to ruin us financially, they hate America and its government. They are also economically ignorant and incompetent.

The President has never wanted the debt ceiling to be an issue. Place the blame where it belongs.

If by putting Øbama "in a tough spot" it means tough in the sense that it will be tough finding someone more inept, then by all means Øbama is in a tough spot.

No, the credit rating company issued a statement that
America was spending more then tir ability to pay and they will soon lower the rating again for the same reason. Liberals live in a dream bubble, and never check their information. All the informaation was available at the time they lowered the rating. As soon as Democrats do not get the new debt level it will trigger a new rating.

Obama wants authority over the debt ceiling.

No, Obama wants to be permitted to raise the debt level on his own, without Congress, unlimited spending. That will be the day. He is insane if he thinks he has that kind of power over the money.
