In January, 2.8 million persons were marginally attached to the laborforce, essentially unchanged from a year earlier.(The data are not seasonally adjusted.) These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and had looked for a job sometimein the prior 12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because
they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey.
(See table A-16.)

Don't you wonder what would happen to that 8.3% if these 2.8 million were counted? Sheesh...

Jobless rates are at an all time low because the government just removed (another) 1.5 million people from the workforce count.

The numbers are from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' own table, Numbnuts. From December to January, we lost two million jobs.
See, Obama is no dummy, but he knows the vast majority of his voting base are fcking retards like you who can't figure out 2+2, let alone the Bureau of Labor tables.
But for the past 3 years, every time the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported high jobless rates, all the Republicans and Tea Partiers would point to those numbers and scream about what a terrible president Obama was. Now that the same agency reports lower numbers, all of a sudden you question their validity?

There were 132,952,000 people working in December and 130,456,000 in January. So there were 2.5 million fewer jobs in January, and the unemployment rate went down? Only is government can you make this shit up.

Record 1.2 Million People Fall Out Of Labor Force In One Month, Labor Force Participation Rate Tumbles To Fresh 30 Year Low

A month ago, we joked when we said that for Obama to get the unemployment rate to negative by election time, all he has to do is to crush the labor force participation rate to about 55%. Looks like the good folks at the BLS heard us: it appears that the people not in the labor force exploded by an unprecedented record 1.2 million. No, that's not a typo: 1.2 million people dropped out of the labor force in one month! So as the labor force increased from 153.9 million to 154.4 million, the non institutional population increased by 242.3 million meaning, those not in the labor force surged from 86.7 million to 87.9 million. Which means that the civilian labor force tumbled to a fresh 30 year low of 63.7% as the BLS is seriously planning on eliminating nearly half of the available labor pool from the unemployment calculation. As for the quality of jobs, as withholding taxes roll over Year over year, it can only mean that the US is replacing high paying FIRE jobs with low paying construction and manufacturing. So much for the improvement.

Nope...it's the people out of work who have looked for work in the past 12 months, but not in the past 4 weeks.

Beginning January 1st, 2011 every single day more than 10,000 Baby Boomers will reach the age of 65. That is going to keep happening every single day for the next 19 years.

Any way you look at it, more people receiving government programs, less contributing, pretty simple to see that outflow is increasing at a faster rate than income, no matter what the administration reports.

So now it is Obama's fault that baby boomers, who were born before Obama was born, are reaching retirement age?

Government jobs

Government raises

Stimulus money released for 2012 election year

AND....

the DEMOCRATS, yes the DEMOCRATS, are STILL saying there will be more downs in the job market.

Gameplaying with the lives of Americans.

Retake the Senate in 2012 and OUT with Obama in 2012.

VOTE!

Any criticism of Obama is viewed and labeled racist.

We don't need a President who chooses to divide America when our nation is struggling.

Stats can so easily be manipulated, but this is ridiculous. Even the anchors on FOXNEWS are raving about how good this news is that unemployment is finally being reduced. You'd think media would put one of their "investigative reporters" on detail to figure it out...
