New York City is still the most popular U.S. tourist destination by 2009, and with way more visitors this year, helping to retain leisure and hospitality jobs at pre-recession levels. New York City’s 45.25 million visitors surpassed those from Orlando, Florida, the home of Walt Disney, after finishing second in 2008. Orlando just placed second. This trend affects all the luxury resorts, as well as top beach resorts and luxury hotels. www.radisson.ws
