The tea-baggers in congress won’t do their job because their hate for a Black President supersedes their duty as elected officials to uphold the constitution. These people are very evil and their unpatriotic behavior will destroy them politically.

OBAMACARE is the law of the land and there will be no negotiating, no delay, no nothing… we don’t give in to terrorist, especially right-wing tea-bagging terrorist.

With evil government of lies and deceit under dictator Obama, America needs to go on without the failed Obama scam care that has nothing to do with health of the American people as it would flood America with 30 million sick foreign illegal invaders that Obama promised to get free healthcare, free food stamps and free Obama phone for lifetime without working or paying taxes in return for their vote for him. American people will never agree to lose their jobs, go bankruptcy and lose their freedom and liberty to the IRS liberal zealous henchmen that will control their life through their health record and bank accounts. Obama care will bring to the collapse of the health system and to dysfunctional government ruled system like the USPS that is inefficient and will sacrifice the lives of millions of American elderly and sick that will fall within the cracks and die waiting for promised health care within months or years of waiting lid death panels of Obama who will decide who would live and who will die. The GOP led House is right to listen to the hurting Americans and delay the ‘horror care’ to next year after the 2014 elections. No American should agree to sacrifice his life for Obama’s dysfunctional death panels with no doctors, no hospitals and no medication. It is time for the Republicans led by John Boehner, Cantor and Ted Cruise to save the lives of millions of Americans by evil America hating dictator named Barack Hussein Obama.

What is the job of the Congress?

From the Republican point of view it's to
make sure that the Democrats don't get
anything done.

From the Democratic side of Congress it's to
try to figure out just what the Republicans
will allow them to do.

Ergo: very little gets done.

The House Republicans have passed the same
bill (defund Obamacare) about 43 times.
Over and over and over...... Total waste
of time and taxpayer dollars.

way behind the times latrine corpse pat, obama has 'negotiated' with his union cronies and given 2000 obamacare waivers. obama has 'delayed' the business mandate on obamacare till 2015 preserving the DNC campaign contribution base for the 2014 congressional elections. as usual your obama sucking and asz kissing has blinded your perception. the epitome of the perfect obama lemming. law of the land my asz, your prez calls it a law as long as he can change it at will with no legislative or judicial oversight. balance of power in this gubbmint is nonexistent.

<quoted text>The real answer is that we have people who do not want to do their job. Like in California, the governor and AG were allowed to not do their job in defending the law, Prop 8. They decided long before the courts decided. What if we get a president who decides that women should not be allowed to work or vote and he ordered the Dept of Justice not to defend those laws?
We already have a President who decides what laws his administration will enforce and what laws will be ignored. So far he has no problem with women voting or working.

You're right. Women being able to work and vote and making their
life decisions without their husband or father or brother
deciding for them. I know it goes against the grain of American
religious conservatism, but there it is.

OMG. My very religious Great Grandmother was a Railroad dispatcher in the 1800s. She also graduated from high school from a private school when girls rarely went to high schools. So you see women worked before the NOW ladies were invented. My other Great Grandmother dipped candy at a candy company in the Chicago loop. You people live is some kind of la la land that only goes back to the 60s. By the way they all voted Republican.

Voting Republican in the North was normal after the Civil War.Lincoln was the first Republican President and after the Civil War all Presidents were Republican from Lincoln elected in 1860 until Wilson (who was a Democrat)elected in 1913 for two terms and then the voters again elected a Republican until FDR was elected President in 1932,1936,1940,and again in 1944.He died in office. The NOW crowd is an organization that represents only liberal women.

We know NOW only represents liberal women, but to hear Democrats talk you would think all women are anti Republican, and never had a chance to make money before NOWs 60s crusade. You can't talk to them about anything I had a discussion with a liberal about gun ownership Saturday. Why can't they just tell you their side for gun control, and listen to your side? I brought up the 2nd Amendment, and he nearly screamed in my face. Do they think the discussion goes their way only if they yell? Make a point, talk about it. This is why they look so silly.

So you are saying the republicans are doing what the constitution grants them the power to do, and the liberals are too stupid to figure out their own moves. We knew all that pookie. Maybe you should have hit the books more.

The Government's job is to stand by the Constitution, follow the laws of the land, and stay out of the way. Current Government is regulating jobs out of business, and catering to all our enemies. Republicans were sent to Washington to insure the thieves, and degenerates don't steal us blind, and hand us over to the Muslim Brotherhood.
