I would have screamed then puked on the spot, I hate snakes. Dont these companies have to be held responsible for what the can and sell to consumers? I am sure they have quality control, dont there workers have to screen this stuff before it goes to market? Gawd...there lucky it wasnt my beans..

We once found a huge grasshopper in a can of green beans. The hopper was bright red because the canning process cooked it - yuck! Haven't eaten beans in a while even though the company sent us a free case.

Because we didn't appreciate the added protein? That makes us "silly"?

A long time ago, I found a ladybug in a can of peas - at the time we were very poor, so it was a case of straining it out and eating the peas. At any rate, I've read that the USDA allows a certain percentage of "protein" to be in a certain product - it's not totally avoidable. I suppose we'd starve if we really knew what went on with the processing of our food. Either that, or go vegetarian. Speaking of which, I'm vegetarian and about 95% of my food is fresh - unfortunately, nobody told that to the nice little bugs I usually find in my produce - lol!

Just my two cents. Hey all!

My dad found what appeared to be a fully cooked piece of some sort of creepy crawly in a bag of cheetos once...it was all black and covered in cheese....

Well I found a human finger in a can of Beef Stew before. So if anyone from the cannery has lost a finger it's in my freezer.
