Nope - nothing here for their coffers. Uncle Scam is getting ready to exact his pound of flesh in a very few weeks. With a $340 gas bill for January, don't expect me in any department store anytime soon. I expect most people are feeling the same.

Not I....my thermostat is set at a comfortable 68 degrees, and my well-insulated home with energy-efficient appliances and windows doesn't cost me much at all.
My guess is some small changes...closing off and not heating rooms you don't use, putting plastic on drafty windows, turning down a thermostat (or buying a programmable one), wearing heavier clothes, snuggling under blankets, and blowing additional foam insulation into your walls (all inexpensive fixes, by the way) would help lower those bills.
Or, you can just continue to whine about it on every single thread. That'll help lower your costs, I'm sure.
