IF this is a typo and there are 1.5 inches of rain actually expected (rather than 15) in the Sierra Nevada mountains, this error should be corrected!
This is the 3rd online article I've read today (not all in the Herald) where misspellings changed the facts, and therefore the story being reported. I guess that editing before publishing is now firmly a thing of the past.
