Higher electric bills are likely

Progress Energy is so caught up in asking for unfair hicks it take over a month to fix one street light and in the progress, pardon the pun, they disabled a second lamp. It has take one month and the light is still not operatioal. one truck to say yes, it is down, second truck 4 days later to disable two lights. then 2 weeks to remove the downed light 9 days to install new light and I have been told 3 to 4 working days to get the lights turn on. Where is their planning? I think they should be made to give back any rate hike that they have had in the past two years it has only gone to give the top brass bonuses. Oh for Florida Power to be back they would have had it fixed in one day.

well it is a good thing that fpl may lower their high cost but do you really thing 1.8 percent is going to help any when fpl raised there cost 15 percent last year. why cant they lower it more like 10 percent. my electirc bill trippled since last year and i am actually use less kiliwatts than last year. come on and give us a break. they tell us not to run the ac but when you have children in this florida heat you have to. i keep it to 85 degrees also. this is hurting our pockets real bad and we need some kind of miracle to help us. sorry but 1.8 percent doesnt do it. how about 10 percent . you are still makeing your 5 percent plus on us.
