This is ludicrous the route has already been chosen it will have less impact on people who have spent their entire lives saving to make one of the largest purchases they will make in their lifetime their HOMES. It is really about time someone took the peoples interest to heart. We The People no longer stand a chance in this country.

Too bad the native Americans didn't say " N.I.M.B.Y."

This is crazy!!! The route which had already been chosen will have less impact on people who have spent their entire lives saving to make one of if not the Largest purchase in their lifetime their HOMES. On top of that the map that they sent to those people living within 1,000 feet of one of the National Park Service's suggested new routes for the electric utility's latest power line project doesn't actually show exactly where the route would be (showing the names of roads impacted) and the letter did not state that we are one of the people living within the 1,000 fee of the new route- something I had to find out by doing a search!!!

It's my opinion that PP&L is a criminal enterprise, a corporation with no meaningful competition, that wants to charade as a public utility. It should be taken over by the state and run as a non-profit organization. It would be better for you, me, and every business in PA.

It's good to see the Park Service stepping up to the plate.

Are you advocating socialism? Or Communism? Or Marxism? etc.

I'm advocating playing by the rules if you want to be a capitalist, which means that you can't be a monopoly and pretend that you have competition, which is exactly what PP&L does.

If you're saying that they can't do something, but they're doing it anyway, then apparently they CAN do it, lol.

I am from WV and living in Philly. Now, my state has been raped several times to run a power line through wherein, the coal co. benefitting was in PA, and the end-user is in No. VA / DC....yet WV residents have their lands stolen, suffer medical damages for this, the second of 2 high-power lines since the 70's, and their electric bills will go up about 40% to pay for the line that THEY DIDN'T WANT!!!! WV gains nothhing...no jobs or revenue....only more charges to keep the beaurocrats in DC in electricity.

Do the guys in Marcus Hook still wear black socks with garters to keep them up?
