Don't worry about long term cost going down. If they do(fat chance)it will be averaged out over time. Tie it in with underwatwer transmision lines to other off shore wind farms in other areas. We need that to make sure juice is coming in all the time, 24/7365 and don't have to build backup coal or gas plants. As a MD home owner I think we should go for it and become a leader in clean Elec.
Every watt made here helps keep $ here in the US and that's good.
