VTX 1000 restarting randomly...

I am using a VTX1000 and it randomly turns off, stays that way for a couple of minutes and then all is back to normal. It does not happen during calls so far.
When it turns off, the green led on the power supply also goes out, so it seems the power supply itself is switching off.
The voltage here fluctuates a little, but all other devices seem to cope fine.
Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Any ideas what may be causing it?
Thanks and regards

Hi Sandro I've seen this happen a few times with the VTX1000 range. I think this is a design fault in a specific batch of them. You are not alone my friend I work for http://conference-phone.co.za/polycom we have just recently started noticing this as well and it is my suggestion that you contact Polycom direct and discuss this issue with the warranties department.

Sean, thanks a lot for this. I am located in Spain, and I phoned Polycom up directly. They basically stated that the unit is out of warranty after checking the serial number. The only thing they would say is the name of the distributor in Spain and to contact them. I have tried but with little success.. I am wondering if the only way forward now is to locate another universal module (power supply) or try and bypass it alltogether, by making a cable to connect phone line and power supply to...
