Some Sands employees never believed this company wanted the place. Thought Pinnacle was waiting for another company to come in and outbid them so they could walk away with a quick 10 million dollar break up fee. They'd just netted a 44 million dollar break up fee on the Aztar deal in May '06. And their real sights were set on Philadelphia anyway. This deal will be the undoing of this company.

when pinnacle close the casino it affected lots of people especially the ones who had lots of years. There are people who now got low paying jobs and get afford their mortgage. They should have left the casino open and build around it and then relocated the employees, but i guess money comes first and the union was not to much help.
