One question for all the buisines owners planning on installing these on their roof tops: What happens when your roof leaks or needs to be replaced after 15 or 20 years? I'm all for the environment and renewable energy however I don't think some people have thought about the maintenance issues this will bring in the long run and the headaches it will bring to the small commercial business owner.

DCW, I bet in 15-20 years we will all be on nuclear power and the solar panels will be for the average home use.

I have just one question. Why are these solar panels going on the roofs of public schools? Why not offset some of the cost the school systems are paying to use electricity by subsidising with solar power? I think it would be a bennifit in the long run for the schools by allowing the the savings to go to other parts of the school budgets.

Sorry I meant to say, why are these solar panels not going on the roof tops of public schools
