That is great to read; that means Subrosa, the Card Room, and that boozemup bar can afford to repair those horrific sidewalks!

Dear City of SC businesses,

I am a community member, earning 6 figures a year. However, I make sure that I do all of my shopping in Capitola, Scotts Valley or Los Gatos / West San Jose areas. The reason I do this is because of the inhospitable and non-family friendly environment in SC. I also do not want to contribute any money to the tax coffers of the progressive socialists that they use to fund the silliness that goes on there.

Sincerely,

Boycotting SC (and not alone, by any means)

Same story with me, SC Businesses. Sorry.
Elect a new council, stop the illegal gangster/drug dealer sanctuary program and maybe you'll see me, my family, and my dollars again sometime maybe. Till then, see ya.

Hey now, this is a good thing! Businesses are positive about the coming year, we should be applauding this.

There is an election in November, vote some new people in, time for some change of momentum in Santa Cruz

Regardless of how Mammon fares, Santa Cruz culture is in the Toilet.

The local weeklies illustrate that most boyz are girls, and many gurlz are one step from being whores. All they know how to do is play with their cell phones, talk about sports, movies and the latest tv craze,... and who "f'd" who recently. Nice.

The local weeklies illustrate that this culture has no future because it has lost its sense of its past. A "culture" built of people who don't have a clue who they are, other than what the media tells them .... is lost.

More Mammon won't fix what needs to be fixed

Roger that been doing it for years. I refuse to pay sales tax in this town if I can avoid it and for the most part I can. The same goes for a lot of restaurants/shops where the staff is unfriendly or arrogant. Why give some stupid idiotic moron your cash so they can continue with their idiocracy. I swear this town has more stupid a holes than you can shake a stick at

Dust is widely present in the galaxy. Ambient radiation heats dust and re-emits radiation into the microwave band, which may distort the cosmic microwave background power spectrum. Dust in this regime has a complicated emission spectrum, and includes both thermal dust emission and spinning dust emission.[16]
