Help me out here, I frequently see your remarks about anonymous posters and the like, but what identifies you? You give no last name, no verification on a first name. No address. No phone number. No verifiable means of identification. The picture, well that's probably legit as I can't think of anyonewho would willing post a face like that and claim it otherwise. There's not enough tequila for a woman to conquer that.
How is your title anywhere legitimate or better than anyone else who posts on these boards? Save your rant about politics, dems, libs, unions, taxes, etc.
Just explain why everyone else with a moniker on these boards is a 'gutless anonymous poster' and you're not?
Sincerely,
Lee Greenwood (sorry, don't have a current picture)
You're wasting your time with Jeff T. The bottom line is that in his world he is right and you are wrong, and when he paints himself into a corner then he just stops conversing and shifts into name-calling mode. I already tried ad nauseum to get him to answer the question about what makes him less anonymous than anyone else and he WILL NOT answer the question. Instead he'll pull a Red Herring and spew accusations shotgun-style, such as "typical liberal" or he says "you change your moniker" etc., as though I'd have some reason to change from one anonymous name to another. Another funny bit is he invited me to come to a Topix dinner, as though I'd really want to get to know someone so immature any better. Thanks for your comments but believe me he's a lost cause.

Amen brother, I had to get it off my chest. The constant nonsensical rant of 'liberals, dems, unions, etc.', and the incessant 'gutless anonymous poster'... it gets old. I will gladly talk issues and politics with dems and republicans alike, or anyone who has a thoughtful, well reasoned opinion. To that end, I wish Jeff would just go to bed early with the rest of the kids.

Question-- If I add a picture to my profile and change my name to Al B., will that make me credible?

Oh, and don't forget to rate yourself.

The company hasn't even had time to move their operation from Osceola to Mexico, so this year's profits were generated in the US, from workers who were paid US competitive wages. I imagine that next year, the profit sharing expense for the company will be a lot less, because 20% of the prevailing wage in Mexico won't amount to much (except to the Mexican workers). Too bad the workers in Osceola won't be getting any salary, let alone profit sharing.
If it's so difficult for this company to compete with their manufacturing plant in Wisconsin, how did they make a profit high enough to allow them to pay a portion to their employees? Don't tell me that taxes are the reason companies move jobs offshore. It's the prevailing wage in the US. We'll never be able to compete with China or Mexico in that regard.

Polaris can suck on my c..k. They sent all their production to Mexico, let go local workers, and then act like heros by handing out profit sharing checks. I'm sure all the recently unemployed workers are sure happy they could help out the profits of the company by giving up their jobs. Don't get me wrong, I'm pro business, but hate to see jobs being sent out of this country.

It is not about me being right...it is about Conservatism being right and liberalism being wrong.

Is it fun to talk to yourself, Slim, um, I mean Al?

No, because nothing makes your liberal ignorance credible.

Funny because you (and your 97 name changes) are the only ones that don't get it....well, unless you count Madaman and Morgana.

This is bad, really BAD. Profit are a really BAD thing. Another example of corporate American screwing the middle class.
Poor Polaris. Record profits. Will they pay profit sharing to the Mexican workers after the move? Or just pocket the larger profits while the American workers are on unemployment?
I could use the pesos.

Here's a resource you ignorant basement dweller-- Go drive through Juarez Mexico and first see the number of nice US factories that are there, then drive about a mile away and see the cardboard and pallet shacks that people live in.
I've been there, I've seen it. "Cite your facts!" It's cited.
Do you have GED?
No I'm not a lib, not a dem, don't belong to a union, and I pay more in taxes than you will in three lifetimes.
Question asked of Whirlpool plant manager after the move to Mexico years ago:
"How many of your employees have Whirlpool appliances?"
His answer:
"None. They don't have running water".
