Polaris and Arctic Cat post higher earnings, sales

Polaris Industries said today that fourth quarter profits increased 24 percent from the previous year to $54 million, or $1.55 per share, as the recreational vehicle maker continued to gain market share from its competitors.

It is more than gratifying to see locally based businesses that can are do compete well with the Oriental giants, producing quality products with local labor and materials. Were I in the market for an off-road vehicle, these two manufacturers would get my business. Buy USA manufactured products and you are acting "globally, responsibly."

ummm Jim, you do realize polaris moved manufacturing to Mexico right?
They shut the plants in MN down

I know they shut the one down in oceola, wi but i think there still running in minnesota, i could be wrong.
