Disappointed that Proctor & gamble is not taking responsibility for this situation. i usually use Luvs with my son but i did use pampers last month. My son's rear-end looked like it was sun-burned and he had a terrible itch.We have switched back and will not buy Pamper's again. Just wanted to know what ,if anything ,can be done to clear up the rash because it hasn't completely gone away.

Go figure that I've been a Huggies mama since birth and bought my first pack of Pampers Dry Max the other day because of a 3.00 off coupon. Hope DS doesn't break out.

My son had the same thing happen; it appeared as diaper rash and the next morning it blistered, then broke open and started bleeding. We had used Luvs. The doctor gave us a perscription for some cream, he also said use an ointment(A&D) this will help seal out the wetness. We have been using Huggies, using a washcloth instead of whipes, and the ointment. It has healed and he hasn't had any problems since. I hope this may help some of you

I have always used pampers diapers with my kids. I purchased the Dry Max the other day, my child has a "burn-like" looking rash. I did not know of this story about the Dry Max, until my husband mentioned to me today that they were on the news the other night. Looked it up just now.... very disappointed with Pammpers. This is the only thing that is "new" or "different" with my child. No new soaps, lotions, foods, etc. I'll switch to another brand if the old cruisers aren't brought back. DO NOT LIKE DRY MAX!!!!!!!!!!

To my knowledge diapers traditionally contain absorption materials based on various aerogels between porous and non-porous yet breathable layers. Aerogels expand to absorb 10-20 times their weight of liquids. These are highly tested and safe even for feminine higiene products. My question would be what new ingredients other than aerogels -perhaps silicates?- does Max Dry include to enhance the absorbancy and whether it is as well tested and safe for other categories? Also, the objective of perfectly dry diaper might be dessicating the sensitive skin. In my opinion, the rate of abosroption and moisture loss over tme is more important that the level of dryness.

I have been using pampers since my 15 month old was born and never had a problem until we tried the new cruisers thin and dry. My baby developed a rash that looked like a welt. My husband heard the news about pampers new diapers causing rashes to kids. It made me mad that pampers are coming up with so much bullshit instead of taking good care of this issue.

My son has always used pampers since the day he was born, we decided to try the new dry max and now he has a horrible rash, cries when he pees and is very uncomfortable. I think the company should take responsibility for their product and recall them. This is absolutely ridiculous I am trying to find a way to get something done!

My son is almost 2 and we haven't used pampers for about a year. He broke out in a horrible rash the last time we used them.

every time we used the overnight pampers my son woke up with the absorption beads all throughout his pajamas. I had to bathe him every morning when he woke up until i stopped using them

DO NOT USE ANY BRAND OF PAMPERS DIAPERS! my daughter had very bad rashes and blisters on her behind and anywhere her diaper touched her. as soon as i saw this on the news i took her off pampers and switched to huggies, about 4 days later it was completely gone. she was completely miserable for months. i took her to doctor appt after doctor appt. they said it was something new every time i took her, nothing they tried worked .... i wish i would of figured it out sooner.

DO NOT BUY PAMPERS DIAPERS! My daughter has used pampers since birth. I purposely did not buy the dry max diapers to avoid rash or problem. So I purchased 2 boxes of the regular cruisers. The first box was fine and what I was used to, 2ND box on the other had was different. The diapers looked and felt different but I didn't think anything of it because I was like it doesn't say dry max on anything so we should be ok. Well with in 1 day my daughter had severe rash/burns all over her vagina and buttock area. I rushed her to the doctor and sure enough severe reaction to some sort of chemical or something. She needed prescription strength cream.
I contacted Pampers and they admitted to me in an email that they put dry max diapers in the old cruisers packages to better the transition over to the new diapers and those boxes should have all been removed all off the shelves as of March 15, 2010 and they are real sorry but I must have got one of those boxes. They said they would mail me coupons for the inconvience and they were sorry. Well that wasn't going to cut it and will not cut it. PLEASE DONT PURCHASE ANY PAMPERS BECAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GETTING!
