Thank God for that stimulus money!! Talk all the crap you want - I won't be reading it anyway but this has been an awful start to President Carter's presidency! Companies have NO faith in him - more people laid off every day and it's only just begun! That's their goal though - the more without work the more want government takeovers and assistance! What a sorry arse country now!

yeah we should have just done nothing, let the banks crash, followed by the auto industry and most businesses. then we could be in a depression with millions more out of work. good thinking GOP

There is a widening gap between data and reality which is distorting the government's picture of the country's economic health. Perhaps if some of our elected officials were in touch with the "real world" they would realize the green sprouts they see are actually weeds!

John B...what happens when all the money that was printed in order to bail out the banks, auto industry etc causes hyper inflation? It's only a few years down the road, and then you'll wish that we had bitten the bullet earlier and let the market forces take over.

No need to worry, I am confidant that Governor Strickland has a plan to double the new jobs that P&G is moving out of Ohio.
