With the words "Good morning, dear" spoken by Nancy Hughes (Helen Wagner) to her husband, Chris (Don McLaughlin) my Mother had begun a virtual lifetime of being a fan of As the World Turns, bringing her three daughters right along with her on that early spring day of April 2, 1956. My Mother still watches at age 94! We're saddened that it's leaving. All we ask is that the writers will allow it to end with some dignity left and write more believable story lines for the veteran actors we have "known" through the years. Goodbye, As the World Turns. You have entertained us.
