The streetcar named "Desire."
Bing and other politicians just want to keep Detroit on the map with new stuff. It doesn't have to fit any real plan. The People Mover is a huge financial bust. The streetcar plan will be a grander bust, more busty if you will.
In the pipe dream, these folks can see adding to the 3.1 miles and going to 6-8 Mile Roads. Then run that baby to Pontiac. Pretty soon, all roads lead to Detroit, the destination city.
