New Jersey is squeezing Exelon for whatever it can wring out of the company---whether it makes any sense or not. Why does Jersey always look like it is run by thugs? Exelon is probably overpaying for PECO to begin with.

Please get the name and location of the companies correct. OECO is located in Pennsylvania and PSEG is located in New Jersey!!!!

Rowe and CoEd had also decimated it's "partner" PECO. Driven by profit motive, PECO has been downsized in virtually every area that counts towards providing reliable service to it's customers. Can't contact a person at PECO when you have an outage? Where PECO (prior to EXELON) had a well staffed call center to assist customers, now it's a machine that takes your call. Staffing in field personnel has been slashed, to the point that PECO cannot meet customer needs on a routine basis, and emergency situations are impossible. Field forces are forced (that's correct - regardless of prior hours worked or physical condition) to work 16hrs on and 8 hrs off during emergency situations for multiple days - that's unsafe for anyone with a little common sense, but not for the current management. The June flood and July eletrical storms have driven home the fact that PECO (EXELON) can't handle it's customers needs, just ask anyone affected by either, it's one horror story after another, followed by one PECO excuse after another. New Jersey and PSE&G beware EXELON!
