I bought Prodex insulation last year and used it as a house wrap and on my roof decking (under my tile) in my home that was being built. This house is in Las Vegas, and the construction was taking place during the summer (OUCH!) To my surprise, even without windows, doors, any other insulation, or any operating A/C, my attic temperature was only 87 degrees when it was 118 outside...I couldn't believe the difference. Once we added our fiberglass, windows/doors, and fiberglass insulation, it was actually 79 degrees in the home (without any A/C!) I can honestly say that it was one of the smartest moves that I've ever made (not that I've made many); my power bills are almost half of my neighbor's...I HIGHLY recommend this product if you can find a reputable dealer.

Great product. Much easier to use than fiberglass (no itching). Made a huge difference in my attic and garage. Would definitely recommend; great buy for the price.

You should buy from Insulation4Less. You've read only 2 customers with issues. We sell to thousands of new customers each month. We have an A- BBB rating (easy to verify, link on website).
Thousands of happy customers monthly. You should check agencies like the BBB for a more comprehensive even handed opinion.

Am I glad that I found this info out today. I am having a 60' x 90' building put up and was getting ready to order prodex insulation for it...from Insulation4Less! I will not reward such rude customer service with an order. I was in sales most of my adult life and my customers were all treated well. Small orders turn into large orders sooner or later..either directly or indirectly.

I placed an order with insulation 4 less. I purchased 5 rolls and tape. I called them with questions a number of times and they were helpful. I spent time on research the technial data which they have if you do your homework. I have been doing the attic on a brick house built in the 30s. I have 2/3 finished and all ready notice the difference. As to how I was treated by Insulation 4 Less. The order was ontime and the people were helpful. I am very satisfyed.

Was thinking of using this on my basement walls before finishing. And not using fiberglass between studs. Thoughts?

I have no faith in the BBB after hiring a contractor with an A rating, only to have him walk away with $10,000 with no work done. He scammed people all across CT walking away with over $700,000, he's still being pursued by all those affected. So his rating on the BBB site went from A to no longer being available since he filed for bankruptcy. Makes me wonder how he ever got that A rating.

I JUST CALLED THIS COMPANY THIS MORNING AFTER REVIEWING INFO ONLINE. THOUGHT I WOULD RESEARCH MORE ONLINE AFTER SPEAKING WITH RUDE SALESMAN FROM INSULATION FOR LESS. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE FROM THEIR COMPANY REALIZES THIS GUY OBVIOUSLY DOES THIS ALOT FROM WHAT I HAVE READ. TOO BAD LOOKS LIKE A GOOD PRODUCT.

So, who else sells Prodex? The reference to PMG in an earlier post was of little help, as, when I called, they recommended that I call I4L.
