Unless the three council members met or talked together at the same point in time, no violation occurred.

It's a little late to opt out of the smart meters. A person driving a stealth vehicle, not identified with a PG&E logo, has been steadily installing the smart meters in Arcata. I left my house to run errands and came home to find a notice on my door. I tracked the person down and ask why there wasn't any advance notice. He replied "I knocked on the door". So apparently it doesn't matter if anyone is home or not just as long as the tech knocks on the door.

Umm states: "Unless the three council members met or talked together at the same point in time, no violation occurred."

What occurred is considered a "serial meeting" where one member discusses an item with another member and then discusses it with a third member of a five member council and as such is a violation of the Brown Act.

This was a glaring violation of the Brown Act. Mr. Brinton is right in exposing this. I wonder if he is going to file charges with the FPPC? He has the right to. I thought Arcata City Council had it together? They are all basically Liberals, are they not?

35 PG&E 'Information' meetings were held in Marin County, and afterwards Marin County passed an Ordinance forbidding PG&E from installing any Wireless smart meters in Marin County.
Marin County is loaded with electrical engineers, emf radiation specialists, attorneys and public health officials that rejected the PG&E nonsense that PG&E delivered at those 'Information' meetings.
The truth is finally coming out and spreading throughout California.
