Shane Brinton is just a cry baby who shouts, pouts and swears at others whenever he doesn't get what he wants. That's what happens when someone is elected who lacks maturity and expirience. Let's not elect any more children to offices they are not ready for.

Good luck. Arcata City Council has been a joke for years. They have wasted more money over the years sticking their noses where they do not belong. At least Bob is gone. That is a step in the right direction.

What a waste of time.
These same people no doubt were groovy class presidents, cheer leaders & popular jocks.
Just like junior high.
They've only aged but certainly haven't grown up.

Electing children couldn't hurt. At least they're not children in fat adult bodies.........

If you read the Eye, you know what went down in public at the last meeting. The guy's youth is an easy thing to criticize, but it's not helping him to take a cut-and-dry issue this far on what appears to be an emotional basis.

Bring on the Smart Meter. Some of us would love nothing more than to watch Neil Bartlett stand shamefully in the unemployment line .

smart meters are coming , just watch your meter go around and around, just have the PG&E prove that the meter is working . put them together and see which one is right .

Smart Meters HAVE too many questions with few answers!
Please back AB 37..........I want a choice and this is a choice. Health questions alone should be enough for this council to ACT?

As for Shane, what a cry baby-you have too much authority now. Kids should not be elected until they can govern!

Mayor: It is 2011 not 2010!
