How many new crimes have they committed? Law enforcement is overburdened with too many laws, and not enough officers to enforce all that has been put on them.
Our legislators need to take a long look at all the laws that are obselete or due for a do-over.
Our governor and legislators also need to provide funds so that there are enough officers to do the work, or cut the work load.
Until that happens, don't point fingers at them like they aren't doing enough.
If you want to help--start printing how short handed law enforcement is due to budget cuts, but their work load is the same.
