If Gates wanted me respect, he would stop making money by stealing other company's ideas and running with it. He and Buffet want to act so charitable yet they give to charity, thus taking their money off the table for taxes since charity is deductible. That means the rest of us have to pay more to compensate for it. We are the largest debtor nation and need every penny of tax money to survive. Stop giving our tax money to other countries who hate us anyways.

Both, it is their choice of how to spend their charity money. I just wish the laws would change so that it would not lower their tax rate. That would be real charity.

You clearly have no clue about the laws regarding charitable contributions by the uber-wealthy. Stop being a whiner, get off your arse and make your own fortune instead of looking for handouts. A redestribution of wealth equals communism/socialism. Why should other people take care of you? Take care of yourself.

I'm glad they're wealthy it has no bearing on me. I do think that Forbes should have picked a better time to present this list. With these bad times, I feel the last thing the American people want to hear about is someone's fame and fortune. They could have shown just a little compassion for our hard -hit American's.
