Are SUN to end Hitachi Data Systems OEM Relationship?

There are 1 comment on the WEBSPHERE Journal story from Feb 27, 2010, titled Are SUN to end Hitachi Data Systems OEM Relationship?. In it, WEBSPHERE Journal reports that:

On January 26th just prior to the official announcement of Oracle's takeover of SUN Microsystems, I confidently predicted in my article "SUN's Oracle Merger" with regards to SUN's storage portfolio that "One certainty is that the OEM partnership with HDS' enterprise arrays will continue." Perhaps it's time to eat some humble pie.

If Archie Hendryx is correct with his prediction, then he is correct that hds have a lot of marketing to do. I can't comment on his confidence with the mid range products but the high end hitachis that we have are also sun versions and they have never given us problems. My worry is where will this leave customers that have Sun version hitachis?
