I once contacted one of their organizations for help. I was sent a lengthy, lengthy questionaire, citing government programs I never even heard of, asking did I apply to them. The rest was requests for every piece of personal information possible. I withdrew my request in disgust.

Now Americans have to rely on the charity of the US government. Does that make you happy?

I just never understood why a person would want more money than they could ever spend. If it is used to provide jobs for the currently unemployed that is ONE thing. But idle wealth is of no benefit to society.
