When O-I's North American production plants are fully at production capacity for the next 18 to 24 months, it's unclear how the company turned in poor third and fourth quarter earnings, faces lawsuits from numerous top customers for failing to honor single source contracts, and laid off people other than the ones responsible for the debacle. I guess this type of corporate shell game, so often used by our largest corporations in NA, will confuse the shareholders just enough to enable the failing leadership team to ride the steady decline in stock value and customer satisfaction for another year or more.
