Generic Adderall is a possible substitute. Teva, Pharmcore, others have these. Call before hand. Be prepared to travel a few extra miles

President Barack Obama signed a Executive Order concerning the. many catagonies of back orders and shortages plaguing the US public. With the FDA and other regulatory agencies, the order is mandated for cancer drugs, price gouging, and to streamline the vital drug supply shortfall.

Since this issue has been raised up, I believe Paxil should not be taken as a substitute for ADHD medication. Paxil possess very harmful side effects even reaching birth defects, autism and suicidal thinking behavior. See: http://www.paxilbirthdefectlaw.com/ These side effects, I think, would only agitate the ADHD patient and would make their disorder worse.

The adhd drug shortage shoud be a blessing in disguise for parents and patients like me. I found a natural adhd alternative AddieUp, I love this supplement because it is natural and I don't get the mood swings I had with adderall. They call Addieup the Adderall substitute but I see Addieup as a herbal adderall that gives you energy. I don't like the energy shots that have junky caffeine.

If immpossible to find the product sufficient for you, off label Rx's like 200 mg of CIV Provigal has documented effectiveness for enhancing memory deficit disorder and is readily available. This however would be a last or temporary resort for you to discuss with your prescriber.

The way ADHD is managed during childhood would greatly affect how the child would cope up with the daily harasses of adult life. ADHD should be managed properly because it may lead to worse conditions in the future. You can know more about the side effects of medications like Zoloft that are at times used for other mental illness at http://www.zoloftsertralinebirthdefects.com/z...
