I think that news shows should go back to 15 minutes a day. I don't think that Dennis Delano went pounding on the media's door to offer up a story. I think he was courted by reporters looking to one up other media outlets. That being said, the real story is the political machine strikes again. Frank Clark having cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in future law suits, decided that he needed to stop the exposure of his blunders. Frank clark should resign before he gets embarrassed in the general election,

It appears that Dennis Delano was doing his job, others are just afraid of the truth and are trying to hide it with suspending Mr. Delano. Best of luck clearing your name! We support you!

Detective Delano should part ways with the Buffalo PD whether he is reinstated or not and run for the DA job. He'd have no trouble defeating Clark in the next election.
The next DA should be Det.Delano, but before he runs for public office he should, lend his expertise in Las Vegas,Nev.for the serial rapist/murderer running loose in that town. With his knowledge of THE BIKE PATH KILLER and SEPTEMPER 9th KILLER(Dennis Donahue)his uncaanny ability to catch a killer should be nationally reconiginized, for what it trully is,A unique ability to uncover hidden evidence,in plain sight. Then he can come back and kick Frank Clack in the pants out of his former position and be rightfully placed wwhere he should be.Erie County.D.A. He broke the rules period. Wants to be a big legend (in his own mind). never was on the streets as a real copper. Get lost and take your daughter too! She appears to know nothing of police work, as you.

Dennis Delano should be merited as a hero and should receive an award not a suspension for all the years he served the public in bringing about true facts and shedding some light on who committed crimes, helping free two innocent victims who were held in jail for Frank Clark dragging his feet, even when the truth came out, he did nothing but continued to let them sit where they were. Delano should be praised for his clever Detective work, and given a medal for valor. They ought to let Frank Clark be permanently suspended, costing the county money. Wonder what the Capozzi and Dejak family really think of him. Bring back our Detective and let's get the job done [email protected] hia.net

Just saw this story on cbs, Delano is a hero, the story brought tears to my eyes. He didn't break rules in an investigation, he broke the chain of command rules when he voiced injustice. That's not subordination, that's patriotism.

I happened to see Dateline on 6/8/08 which covered Det. Delano's work while serving in the Buffalo Police. Mr. Clark, the Erie County DA should be arrested and imprisoned for 22 years. Perhaps he can understand how serious it is when our system fails and innocent people go to jail. 22 years for one man and 13 years for a woman accused of killing her daughter. Even when confronted with strong evidence suggesting the jailed party is innocent, he still wouldn't initiate the release of these people. How in the hell you served as the DA is beyond me. You stupid SOB. For Det. Deleno, I salute you for an excellent job. I will donate to your campaign and support you as you run for public office. Per the Chief or Commissioner of Buffalo Police who suspended you, resign you dumb ass. Stop playing politics with people's liberties. Deleno had every right to do what he did. I would be scared to come to Buffalo knowing I may end up in prison for whatever you dumb asses dream of. Deleno, great job... I hope to meet you someday.
