Heres an idea let's get the FBI involved. Why you ask it's an outside source. This whole thing stinks to high heaven and Det. Delano and his family and the citzens of Buffalo are getting the shaft

Answer me one single thing. Did Det. Delano violate a police department policy? And don't give me a grey area answer....it's yes or no.
then the answer would have to be no! you cannot realease evidence to the media when there is NO CRIME!!!!! what don't you understand about it? Everyone, the police department, the district attorney, the hotdog guy on the corner, ALL agreed that there was no murder, and the case was, in no uncertain terms legally closed!! You can't have it both ways, if it was not a crime, than there can be no evidence, and if it wasn't evidence, than it could not be against police rules!!!!

Why suspended him without pay? He has done the best he can to help this community. What about the officers that were suspended WITH pay a few years back when they were accused of murdering one of our Buffalos well known family members? All I can say is keep up the good work we need more detectives like you.

I think this man should be honored. Look at what he's accomplished!!! We need more like him. I think he was afraid of a coverup and thats why he released the information. That took a lot of courage. Thank you Mr Delano

He said that AFTER Delano was suspended. Clark, the DA, had gone on television BEFORE Delano was suspended and stated that the case was closed. Delano is NOT wrong...but you are.

Not wrong...Delano doesn't answer to the DA, he answers to his superiors who considered the case open. If we want to get into a pissing match here, we can.

The commissioner said the case was closed. Then he said it could have been a crime. Then he said it has the potential to be a crime. Then he said it may be a crime. Then he said it was always a crime. Now he says it is released evidence but the evidence is in the file. he also said he didnt know nothing about his murderer brother or how the file on his brother got missing from the buffalo police files. He says a lot of stuff. Too bad its all lies.

Come out of hiding and fix this. YOU let it happen. YOU let those idiots in the DA office make a mockery of that childs death. YOU let your commissioner and those under him look like incompetent liars to cover for the hotshot Democratic DA and you let a cop who made ALL of you look good get suspended for what you know is as clear as the tape of your son. BE A MAN for a change and take some responsibiltiy.

oh little man, you are very wrong. and you are not even in Buffalo so why don't you shut it? unless you read the Buffalo News EVERYDAY and watch Buffalo news broadcasts EVERYDAY you do NOT know the wonderful work Det Delano has done for the families of Buffalo. And you do NOT know the lies and manipulation that is quite commonplace by the Buffalo government, legal system and the police department.

I belive that Frank Clark should be a man and stand up to his mistakes, fix his wrongs and reinstate Det. Delano. The people of Buffalo deserve a brake and a honest cop.

An HONEST cop? Delano-no way. He leaked police evidence! As a buffalo police officer, who was on his cold case squad, said to me recently"Dennis ought to be in jail for what he did". What everyone seems to be missing is that Delano broke the rules and should have been suspended. There were better ways to get his point across, but that way his face would not have been all over the news.

He screwed up, he was told to do something by his superiors and he did the opposite. If I did that in my job I would be fired. I feel for the guy, BUT HE SCREWED UP!
Thank God some people "screw up" as you say, people that care enough to get to the truth! Of course I don't think you would know about that.
