i think they were so stupid,especially Mercades.If her mom said that Mercades warned the girl well then why did she videotape the fighting for 30 minutes and not do anything.I think they desvere to stay in juvinile for two years.

I think all of those teenagers who hitted that other girl should be setence and send to jail.
They should be treated as an adults, because they are not that innocents. All of them ,planned to video tape and almost kill that girl,they also didn't feel any remorse they think is a joke and they should pay for that CRIME.

This is the real world, just because the kids are rotten does not mean that the parents approve of their action, I guess if you do something wrong (unless you walk on water with Jesus) your parents are low life useless scum bags and should be tosses in a cage! If you think about what you wrote you will see just how stupid it is. IN A CAGE?? Be for real. Nobody said what the teens did was wrong, but why not allow the law’s decide their punishment, if any.

This is Sky and I am in St. louis and I hate that I can't do anything to help, ease the pain or be of some sort of support, when I saw the video tape at the laundry mat I couldn't really see or hear what was going on except that a girl was getting beat senseless so when I went home and looked it up on the news I saw the scenes and my heart sank and melted and I cried my eyes out, so much I wanted to see her or at least start a funding project, I prayed and prayed and cried all night because I can't image any one getting tensely beaten like that, I felt helpless, I just pray for your full recovery and your sight and hearing loss, If there was something I could do I would do it, but I guess all I can do is pray. My heart goes out to you Lakewood,Florida girl Im so srry I am 17 and I well my heart goes out to you get well soon

Ok, I'm the aunt of 2 teenage girls, if something like that would happened to them and I even saw it on a tape, the girls who've done this to any part of my family would receive the same treatment. Thats what they need and deserve, there's no excuse what they've done. Imagine, that it would be your daughter who is being beaten up....not so funny right..!!!
I hope and pray the God the justice will put them to jail so they can learn how to be better people.! Because if they stay unpunished, that will make them think that its okay to do things like that!!! How disgusting, keep them in jail, they should be punished like an adults they were very aware what they were doing! It made me sick in my stomach when I saw how the teenage girls thinks these days!!
