There are 2 comments on the Seeking Alpha story from Feb 18, 2015, titled 3D Systems: Weighing The Bankruptcy Risk. In it, Seeking Alpha reports that:

But in the next two to three years, 3D Systems could face financial difficulties should it fail to handle rising competitive threats. Fellow SA author Illuminati Investments recently published an interesting article on 3D Systems in which he argued the company would have to write down a significant part of the goodwill on its balance sheet following the $100m goodwill impairment announced by rival Stratasys .

I am from Belarus. I sent to the address of "Botobjects Ltd" 4489, 59 US dollars. Wanted to buy a 3D-printer ProDesk3D. Was a very sad story. Here it is:

Fact: 3DSystems - office, sheltered under its roof organized criminal group ("Botobjects Ltd") and gave him a second life. Legally: 3DSystems - the successor of a business entity ("Botobjects Ltd"). In fact: 3DSystems - the successor Crime (Crime implemented incorporation).
Fact: 3DSystems aware of criminal activity "Botobjects Ltd". 3DSystems ignores all the rights and claims of creditors, including the right to know the fate of their property. 3DSystems - entities involved in the crimes after they occurred.

Fact: "Botobjects Ltd" - into the structure of criminal disguised as a business entity. "Botobjects Ltd" - cowboy office (office "Barnyard" with registered capital of 211 Euro). "Botobjects Ltd" - an instrument of a crime by an organized criminal group operating in a preliminary conspiracy.
Fact: "Botobjects Ltd" extort property (through breach of trust), then divides the property into the pockets of the founders. "Botobjects Ltd" has carried out and continues to carry out crimes worldwide. This - continuing offense. His victims - tens of citizens of different countries. "Botobjects Ltd" - the criminal structure of the world scale.

TOTAL: 3DSystems - structure unfair, malicious, involvement in a crime (concealment of crimes and criminals, violation of the rights of creditors, promoting continuous crime, lack of respect for the consumer). Conclusion: 3DSystems has no right to reputation. His reputation is worthy of cesspools. So be it.

Appeal victims of crime "Botobjects Ltd" and 3DSystems: citizens, these two go around doing the cowboy office! Do not trust your money to these structures! Not worthy of these malicious structure of respect! The dustbin of history it!

Yes, rising competition may affect the performance of the company, but will look at the brighter side that because of the nature of this technology, it has wide range of applications. So, there is scope for further growth.
