Democrat and former Republican Supervisor Frank Petrone is using former Republican leaders to sow dissension among local Republicans. He has also hired many Republicans to his administration. Former councilman Mark Capodanno a Republican got a no show job for 50G's a year several years back. Petrone since has hired others in different capacities such as Ken Christensen a former Republican town councilman who is an activist for higher density housing. They are all in bed with developers and builders and their large amounts of money. Petrone wants more higher density housing in Huntington despite the objections of many of it's citizens who are experiencing higher crime rates and violence because a lack of code enforcement and the downzoning of single family houses and the number of higher density housing complexes that were built. This also raises our property taxes for government services. The democrats mst be thinking how did Frank Petrone and his cabal hijack the Huntington Democrat Party ? Petrone has now allied himself with former Republican leaders who want their old power back and Petrone tried to get back into the party two years ago but was turned down by the present leader. Make no mistake Frank Petrone and his cronies on the town board are out for themselves and party affiliations don't mean a thing.
Heard Vivian Wong is using a democrat lawyer specializing in election law. Bet Frank helped her with that one.
Won't work in the long run. Jackson and Berland will lose anyway for supporting Avalon Bay development.
