nytimes link to online dictionary

I think that until recently, when I double-clicked on a word in an online NY Times article, a question mark would appear and window would open, giving a dictionary definition of the word I'd double-clicked. That feature seems to be unavailable currently.
Is that true for all subscribers to the online Times?
It was a nice feature, and I miss it.
