[Solved] Silverlight Application Storage Error N8010 - Internet Explorer
Posted in the Netflix Forum

At one point a change occured on Netflix where my computer stopped working when trying to instantly view movies.
Things I tried:
- Deleting the Silverlight "is" folder
- Deleting the Silverlight "LocalNow" folder
- Uninstall/Reinstall Silverlight (multiple times)
- Downgraded IE9 to IE8
- Checked Firewall settings, etc.
Nothing worked but this did:
1) Open "Internet Options"
2) Click on the "Security" tab
3) Click on "Trusted Sites" at top of window
4) Uncheck the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone"
5) Type these two items separately in the "Add this website to this zone" and press the "Add" button after each
6) Close the window (Sites window)
7) Press the "OK" button (Internet Options window)
I did not have to close IE to verify that Netflix was working but you may want to exit and/or clear your Internet cache...again may not be required.
Hope this helps someone.
4) Click on "Sites"

None of the fixes I tried worked either until I contacted Netflix and his fix did work. Here it is:
-close all browsers
--click start button
----click local disk
-----click file logged in on (main user)
------click app data -- if not seen scroll to end of this post
-----click local low
--RIGHT click IS file
If no app data choice seen:
-after clicking main logged in file (user file)
----click folder options
-----in advanced settings window scroll to and select "show hidden
files, folders, and drives
---pick up process above at click app data.

I am using Windows 7. This does not work for me. the file loggedin on (main user) doesnt show up but when I go into users and select the current user, then no app data shows up, when I try the fix at the bottom of the post, everytime I do that the user disappears in the user list. Then nothing works after that, I have to da a restore point to even get back to where I started. Any Ideas.
