Netflix plugin for Windows Media Center

Running Windows Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba Satellite L305 laptop. When I try to use the Netflix plugin for Windows Media Center, it works right up to when you try to play or resume a movie stream. Then Media Center just crashes and then restarts. Same thing happens every time. I would like to try either to reinstall the Netflix plugin or to do a complete reinstallation of Media Center. However, I don't want to uninstall the Netflix plugin until I can find a place from which to download a new installation package, and I can't find that place anywhere. Furthermore, instructions on the Micrsoft website state that you can do a complete reinstall of Windows Media Center by using the Repair function where Media Center is listed under "Programs and Features." Trouble is, Media Center isn't listed there! Any assistance would be appreciated.

in programs and features, in the left column, click on "turn windows features on and off" Scroll down to media.

Do you have all the latest media center and silverlight updates?

Windows Media Center is not listed under "Turn Windodws Features On and Off" on this computer. The "Netflix plugin for Windows Media Center" IS listed in the regular program list, but as I noted before, I don't want to remove this because I can't find any place to get a new installer.

it is listed under windows features as media. of course the plug in is listed in the regular program list - it is a third party plugin. The windows feature is only for those features that is part of the operating system and the media center is part of the operating system. In other words, everything that would have came on the windows disk is in its own area.

oops I was wrong. I could have sworn that it was there. anyway since it is not there, most likely theres not a repair option.

For those of you who are having a problem with their windows media center crashing while trying to watch a netflix movie...I believe I have found the fix. All I did was add a shortcut to my desktop for the windows media center and then right clicked and selected "Run as administrator". This did the trick for me.

Media Center is crap. I wrestled with it for the longest time before getting XMBC. No comparison.
