340- good! 89- bad!!!
with the thousands of acres available in Summit county, I can't imagine why the land owners don't practice a little more self-restraint in their location strategies.
Preserve this critical area for open space and let people make their money in a more sensible location.
As more of us crowd into Park City, relinquishing our desire to be close to the mountain becomes tantamount.
Here are some other ideas for the land:
Let Rio Tinto (Bingham) use it to store some of their toxic mine tailings.
Dig a big hole in the ground to see if there is any coal, then leave the mess.
Build the world's tallest building.
Let GM build a new auto plant here.
See? there are lot's of things we !could! do.
Utah- you don't know what you have.
