maybe ill pick me up one of those used turbo diesel pickups real cheap when they start to repo them from you greedy people, i mean come on, you buy 50 and 60 thousand dollar vehicles just to drive 10 or 15 miles to work, and you expect someone to stand by you people when you claim your being shorted? theres alota people in the covington area who are just as qualified to work in that place as you all are, and they probably would gladly do it for what meadwestvaco is offering. think about it, you are replaceable

You SCAB's kill me...if it wasn't for the union you talk down about you wouldn't make the wages you make or have any of the benefits you have. If it were up to me you would be paid whatever the company wanted to pay you (which wouldn't be much) while union members stick with a negotiated contract. Our greed you say...research what some of these CEO's are making while they tell us what they can't afford. How is it greed when you need a cost of living allowance to pay for these rediculous gas prices. Oh and you are right, you can replace us...but you're in you're own world if you think they will pay you what they are paying those guys now...that's the reason for a contract. I'm sure they would pay you $12 an hour, with out of this world insurance premiums, and no retirement...oooh sounds like a good deal to me! You people are what's wrong with America today, not unions who are only looking out for the working class

I worked for the Westvaco Corp. for 40 years. It seems that I can recall the Luke family's love / need for Macanudo cigars.. What say you David?...

Bud I can't seem to figure out why you are so interested in all this UNOIN buisness going on. If I were you I would be getting an english book out starting around "SAY" The fourth grade! This is a very good representation of the education level of a scab who thinks he/she has found a place to fester. Bud, you do have some control of the level of your wage...It all starts in the interview...You do not have to say yes sir to everything they tell you. After all they are the ones looking for a "GOOD WORKER" such as yourself.
