Those devices will be great for implementing a systematic raping of women in cars outside of nightclubs who cannot get their car started until they get sober, LOL. A rapist would just have to sit in the parking garages near an area of drinking establishments at closing time and wait for the stranded women to appear stuck in their parking spots.

I am 100% against drunken driving, but at the same time I am 100% against anymore of our rights being taken away by controling every second of our lifes. So far the P/C idiots tells us what we can eat, smoke, drive, what temp to keep our homes and they want to take away even more rights.Anyone caught driving drunk should have their D/L taken for 1 year and get 30 days in jail, second time no D/L for 5 years and 1 to 1&1/2 years in jail, third time min.6 years,max.15 years. If anyone is killed by a DUI driver the driver should get a min. of 30 years.

In order to arrest someone for "drunk" driving, you'd have to raise the BAC back up to .15% BAC. Since DUI laws have nothing to do with DRUNK driving, maybe the special interest groups should be sued for using the verbiage.

Devices like this in combination of a vehicle black box similar to an airplane your privacy will indeed invade your privacy. My thing is a device like this for cars in general should be segregated or detached from a car computer or control module. They might want to pull speed data from you box and find you drank but weren't drunk. A lawyer gets ahold of that information you could be sued even not your fault in an accident.

I do think a less serious dui offender should get a drive to work privilage just to live so we don't have to pay to house them or support them.

The biggest problem with dui laws and/or anti dui devices is from those drunk drivers that didn't get caught YET or get in an accident. Their attitude is no harm no foul which how I feel about law enforcement in general.
